Web 2.0
Is the bloom off the rose?
First let’s understand what Web 2.0 is.
For our purpose here let’s just use the definition of Web 2.0 as “user-generated” content.
From this you can see that really, there isn’t anything new about Web 2.0…blog comments, forums etc have allowed users to generate content and have it hosted on other people’s sites. Ideally, with a link back to yours to direct not only traffic, but search engines.
So the benefit is twofold.
Traffic coming directly from the users of that complementary site and the indirect traffic from improved search engine rankings resulting from this incoming link love.
In 2007 “Web two point oh” was the all the rage as marketers and “shovel salesmen” clamored to bring you all the latest tools and techniques to drive hoards of traffic and squash your hapless competition and leave them wondering what happened.
You’ve probably heard of Myspace and Facebook, but how about Hubpages and Squidoo lenses?
Dozens if not hundreds (perhaps thousands?) of Web 2.0 community sites popped up all over the place.
So where are they now?
Where’s the buzz?
Well the buzz might be gone…but the underlying infrastructure and core of techniques and tactics are alive and well.
Like so many things, like a swarm of locusts, the herd came and went…some picking the low hanging fruit, profiting quickly and moving on, others failing miserably (and whining about what a scam, time waster, over-blown and ineffective set of tools Web 2.0 is!)
Few took the time to learn and understand the inner workings of this new infrastructure and test with sound direct marketing principles that have stood the test of time.
Only a handful of savvy people took the time to understand and use what has become a backbone of traffic generation tools for those smart enough to not follow the herd and to apply sound principles to what seemed like a fleeting genre of resources.
We did.
Clever individuals who embrace core strategies around selected Web 2.0 properties, in combination with social bookmarking, RSS and even video have learned how to not only generate traffic outside of the Search Engines but to dominate the top listings as well.
I don’t just mean the top listing.
I mean ALL the top listings!
The whole first page…and sometimes the second AND third for all your important keyword phrases.
Imagine what would happen to your client base if you OWNED 5 out of 10, 7 out of 10, or even THE WHOLE DARN PAGE of organic results for your MONEY keywords!
It might sound like hype…but it’s not. Our goal every day when we get upĀ out of bed (and even while we sleep) is to kick your competition out of the organic search results, forcing them to buy expensive traffic giving you a stranglehold on your geographic market for your practice area.
In addition to our regular stable of resources we stay abreast of all the latest…and the most favorable Web 2.0 platforms emerging daily!
New and prominent properties that you can DOMINATE come out on a daily basis.
We rip them apart and exploit the most PROFITABLE new properties that your competition has never even heard of!
This is NOT about traditional SEO (Search Engine Optimization).
In fact, you can see results in hours or days insted of weeks or months!
You would have to stop practicing law and devote yourself full time to keep abreast of this ever-changing milieu.
Why not just outsource it to the experts who will return $10 or more for every $1 you will invest?
Will you see for yourself or will you let your competition wrestle you to the mat?
Beat them to the punch and make them say “uncle”!
